Grille ceiling system

Grille ceiling panel is made from high-strength aluminum alloy. Its width, length, and hanging spacing can be customized according to design requirements.

The surface is available in PVDF or powder coating.

The staggered vertical hanging system creates an open, lightweight, and three-dimensional ceiling effect. Equipped with a dedicated hanging carrier system, each panel can be removed individually for easy installation, maintenance, and replacement. The height and layout can also be freely adjusted according to design requirements. The panel can be combined with perforation and carving designs to create artistic ceiling effects.

The product is widely used for decorative ceilings in shopping mall atriums, hotel lobbies, exhibition halls, office lobbies, and other interior spaces.

3.1 Standard Installation Steps

  1. Elevation Survey & Layout MarkingDraw horizontal elevation lines and grille unit layout lines according to construction drawings, mark fixed positions of roof expansion bolts and hanging rods to confirm ceiling suspension height.

  2. Install Hanging Rods & Main KeelsDrill expansion anchor bolts on roof slab, fix vertical galvanized hanging rods, mount horizontal main light steel keels and adjust overall horizontal flatness uniformly.

  3. Mount Special Grille Hanging ClipsInstall dedicated aluminum hanging clips under main keels at equal intervals, align clip spacing with the size of grille modular units.

  4. Hoist Aluminum Grille Units SequentiallyLift pre-assembled grille lattice units, hang unit top flanges onto matching hanging clips and lock positioning pieces; install units row by row to keep grid lines neat and consistent.

  5. Auxiliary Equipment Matching & Edge FinishingReserve positions for linear lamps, air outlets and fire detectors inside grid cells; install customized wall angle trim for ceiling perimeter closing.

  6. Overall Inspection & Surface CleaningCheck grid flatness, uniform cell size, firm hanging connection and intact coating surface; wipe construction dust and residual stains on grille bars.

3.2 Schematic Component Label Explanation

  1. Modular Aluminum Grille Unit

  2. Special Aluminum Hanging Clip

  3. Main Light Steel Keel

  4. Height Adjustable Galvanized Hanging Rod

  5. Roof Slab Expansion Anchor Bolt

3.3 Key Installation Precautions

  • Keep all hanging clips at identical horizontal level to avoid uneven grid surface and distorted lattice lines;

  • Handle grille units gently during construction to prevent bar deformation and coating scratches;

  • Ensure full snap interlock between main and auxiliary bars to avoid loose grid structure;

  • Reserve reasonable expansion gaps between grille units to eliminate thermal deformation caused by temperature changes.
