Located in the Bai’etan Economic Zone of Liwan District, Guangzhou, Guangdong International Pharmaceutical Port (Guangzhou International Medical Exhibition and Trade Center) is a landmark integrated complex for the healthcare industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. With a total floor area of 900,000 square meters, the project integrates international pharmaceutical exhibition halls, medicine trading areas, corporate headquarters, a health museum, and commercial facilities. Inspired by the concept of a “Sailing Ark,” the building features a 450-meter-long streamlined wave-shaped facade, creating a distinctive architectural landmark for exhibitions in South China. WholeTops provided a complete metal facade system and ceiling system for the project, including customized products such as horizontal wave aluminum panels, multi-level curved aluminum panels for the atrium, and decorative grilles for the sky corridor. WholeTops will provide approximately 128347 square meters of customized aluminum panels for the project. The large-scale streamlined metal facade design enhances the building’s visual identity and modern appearance while also improving sun shading performance and energy efficiency, supporting the project’s commitment to green building and sustainable development.
